yes i do remeber it and think it did fly and did so well. the cowl looked great. i 'll check my file and see what i can find, i have plans somewhere.

seth/all,
on my phalz i added 6/8 oz. of weight to underside of motor mounts.the CD? which worked but not as eloquet as seth's.
How much does it cbnage the CD?

I can't say I had enough experience with non-scale bi-planes to know the answer to your question about the size of the wheels. The method I used seemed to work well with scale models ....

For what it's worth, when I was setting up a Bi-plane, tail dragger, I'd set the CG by blocking up the tail so the plane (fuse) was at zero incidence.
Then I'd draw a line from the rear...

And since you're at the radio choice stage, how about including a gyro for at least the first few flights? Pitch is usually okay and controllable if you've got the CG right, but roll can somethimes...

You're right but I don't remember the fuel. That was a long time ago.
Frank Tallman was a hero of mine. Don't know if he's still alive but for decades he was Hollywood's main stunt flyer.

Actually all up weight was just over 10 lbs. But I accept your comments, that we scale models pack on "scale" weight and then blame everything (including poor flight characteristics)on something...
