I think that the 20-mm is likely at the bottom trailing edge, or perhaps in the middle. 20mm at the top of the rudder on this model would be a lot of throw...

Make sure you get a video of the...

Jeff,

I'm really sorry about that. I'm glad you are going to give it another go. My first F-4 was a 1/7th Fei Bao one. I lost it on the second flight when I let it get too slow at the top of a...

Jeff,

Yea, that's a tough one. That field is located in an area that shows as "0" feet authorization on the FAA's UAS Facility Map - meaning that they will not authorize any UAS flight in there...

Jeff,

I had my pipe installed the way Skymaster suggested, and I did not lower it on the back. I had a little paint bubbling on the inner underside of the stab and on the aft fuselage cover, but...

Jeff,

Good plan on getting it flying and then adding additional scale details. Get it in the air and get used to it before expending a bunch of energy in details - that way you aren't risking the...

Mine came setup for the external linkage, which I used. The internal linkage must be new.

You don't use much rudder in an F-4, so as long as the internal linkage is stiff enough to keep it from...

Jeff,

I just modified my center tank to have the fuel pickup in the middle of the tank and a separate vent at the top. Then I used the flexible tubing and heavy clunk from BVM on that tank. The...

I actually ordered some oil for the struts from Skymaster through BVM. I don't think they carry it anymore though. Skymaster recommends silicon oil used in RC car struts.
