I’ve been applying tailormade wet transfer decals. At first, I was very apprehensive about wet transfers as I remember them being very delicate and easy to break. But not these! They are very robust and go on excellently!

The decals go on the gloss clear that I sprayed on the paint.

I have found a great flat clear that I will spray on the whole airplane when all done.

Callie graphics made these very cool paint masks that I designed myself!

She made great paint masks and she was VERY reasonably priced.

I would recommend her stuff in a New York minute.

Flat clear on.

I know everyone paints better than I, but this is my first “real” paint baby! And I’m a proud papa!

Dang Rav. How you planning on seeing that thing? I have a hard time seeing the shape of it sitting on the bench. Guess my fighter pilot eyes have turned into old man eyes.

Well, most A-10’s are grey and grey airplanes have been really hard to see when flying!

Dave Presta and I have a saying that grey airplanes look really good, on the ground!

If it disappears on the first turn (gulp!) then I’ll have to think of modifying this camo!

Raffy, it will look awesome in the air, in fact, I think it will be very visible, specially on the turns.

i will make sure I am there for the maiden flight.

Ok Gents. I need more help.

I can’t figure out where these pieces that I have laying outside the bags go.

The white 3D printed parts came in the “LED scale lighting” bag and the beige molded piece came in the “Set of VHF/AM antennas”.

I figured out two of them!!

This piece goes in the pave penny pod.

The other 3D printed part is supposed to go on the nose strut, but it’s too late as I hysoled the light on already.
